Please read these terms carefully. MOMONEYO operates as a licensed National Non-Profit Organisation in Ghana.

3. Platform Nature
MOMONEYO is a crowdfunding platform and intermediary. MOMONEYO does not fund, guarantee, or contribute to any campaign. All funds raised come entirely from individual donors. MOMONEYO Foundation directors and staff may donate to campaigns as private individuals.
6. Identity Verification (NIA Compliance)
Campaign creators are required to provide their Ghana National Identification Number (Ghana Card number) for identity verification. In compliance with the National Identification Authority Act and regulations effective July 2026, MOMONEYO does not collect, copy, or store images or photocopies of any identity document.
7. Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
Campaigns that raise GH₵ 5,000 or more, or receive donations from 20 or more unique donors, are subject to Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) as required by the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2020 (Act 1044). Disbursements may be paused pending additional verification.
8. Data Retention
In compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2008 (Act 749), Section 42, MOMONEYO retains all transaction records, campaign data, and identity verification records for a minimum of seven (7) years, even if a campaign or account is deleted by the user.
11. Suspicious Activity & Monitoring
MOMONEYO reserves the absolute right to suspend or permanently take down any campaign that exhibits patterns of suspicious donation activity.
This includes, but is not limited to, an unusually high frequency of numerous unsuccessful or failed payment attempts. Such patterns are often indicative of fraudulent testing or "carding" activity. Campaign creators are solely responsible for ensuring that the traffic and promotional activities directed to their campaigns are legitimate. Failure to monitor or report suspicious activity may result in the immediate termination of the campaign and the blocking of associated payouts.
12. Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from using MOMONEYO for any illegal purpose, including but not limited to money laundering, fraud, or the financing of terrorism. Any use of AI-generated media to mimic real-life medical or financial hardship is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
