1. About MOMONEYO

MOMONEYO is a fundraising platform operated in Ghana, enabling individuals and organisations to raise funds through Mobile Money (MoMo) at www.momoneyo.com. We bridge the gap between traditional communal support and modern digital convenience.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MOMONEYO, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform or services. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

3. Eligibility

To use MOMONEYO, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a resident of Ghana or have a valid, verified Ghana Mobile Money account.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and campaign creation.

4. Campaign Creation & Verification

Trust is our priority. All campaigns are verified via WhatsApp manually by our team. A valid government-issued ID (Ghana Card or Passport) is strictly required for all creators.

5. Donations & Payments

Donations are processed via Mobile Money. A platform fee applies to all incoming donations to cover operational costs. Donations are non-refundable unless a campaign is proven to be fraudulent. All funds are disbursed directly to the registered MoMo number provided during verification.

6. Platform Fees

MOMONEYO is free to start. We deduct a service fee from each donation before disbursement. For the most current fee structure, please visit our About & Pricing page.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from:

• Raising funds for illegal purposes or activities.
• Misrepresenting identity or the need for funds.
• Using AI-generated media to solicit donations.
• Engaging in harassment, fraud, or violation of any Ghanaian law.

8. Intellectual Property

MOMONEYO owns all rights to its branding, logos, and platform code. Campaign creators retain ownership of their content (stories, photos) but grant MOMONEYO a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display and promote that content.

9. Limitation of Liability

MOMONEYO is a facilitating platform. We are not responsible for how funds are used once they leave our platform. Our total liability is limited to the platform fees collected from the specific transaction in question.

10. Termination

MOMONEYO reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account or campaign violating these Terms or our community guidelines at any time without prior notice.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the Laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be resolved under Ghanaian jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
